Known for her strong female characters, Mehreen\u2019s projects explore themes of human relationships, societal issues, and urban life. Notable works include Jackson Heights, Farar, and Lala Begum. Her first feature, Ramchand Pakistani, premiered at the Tribeca Film Festival, winning the FIPRESCI Prize and the Satyajit Ray Award. It was also screened at the Museum of Modern Art in New York. Her second feature, Dobara Phir Se, was showcased at various film festivals worldwide. Mehreen has directed episodic series for streaming platforms like Zee5 and GEO TV. She has extensive experience in branded content and has created videos for nonprofits like Development in Literacy and the Texas Muslim Women\u2019s Foundation.
