Rabia Sultana

Rabia Sultana is a British filmmaker based in NYC and LA. She began her artistic journey performing at the Stratford Theatre and West End before pursuing Archaeology.
A recipient of the inaugural Producer’s Guild America’s ‘Create Fellowship Program’ grant, Rabia produced the short film “Haider, Texas,” funded by Google and PGA, which showcased at the Produced By Conference.
Her film credits include the award-winning Edge of Everything (Santa Barbara FF), Fairyland (Sundance FF), Angelfish (TIFF), Extra Innings (Manhattan FF), and The Climb (Cannes UnCertain Regard Winner).
Rabia recently wrapped production on Poreless, a short written by Harris Doran and Fawzia Mirza, and is currently producing a series of shorts with The Juilliard School. 
Her television work includes AMC’s Bottomless Brunch at Colman’s and HBO’s Chillin Island. Her documentaries, Bollywood NYC and Rocky Flats, have been recognized at DocNYC and Impact Producers. 
Client list includes Hulu, Netflix, Shondaland, Adobe, Warner Music, Sony, and more. Rabia also worked on the American Monsters Exhibit, the country’s largest haunted house, at the Mall of America, Rabia is passionate about creating a multicultural film catalog that fosters empowerment, belonging, and diverse perspectives. She aims to craft a body of work that serves as a safe haven for the disenfranchised.
She is a member of BAFTA and the Producers Guild of America.
